Tealight candle shrine
Why is this a seconds piece?
- Made during my first foray into ceramics so very much a testing piece.
- A bit wobbly from warping in the kiln firing – the back decorated panel leans forward
- There are cracks inside the shine which are sealed over with glaze – doesn’t affect use.
- Some bubbling in the blue underglaze

✸ Materials: Stoneware ceramic, hand-painted underglaze design.
✸ Dimensions: Approx 10 x 10cm
✸ Designed and made in the UK
✸ Shipped in recyclable packaging, although I may at times re-use bubblewrap collected from previous deliveries I have received, to protect more fragile pieces.

Note that whilst the best has been done to capture the colours accurately in the photographs, the colours may vary very slightly as everybody’s screens will be calibrated slightly differently.
