A little bud vase with a hand-painted moon design and gold shiny highlights

Why is this a seconds piece?

• These vases had a mishap during the glaze firing, which caused some areas of the glaze to blister and leave a small hole. I’ve filled these areas with matching dark blue paint and a resin coating to make them less noticeable, however the repair has left a visible crater-like texture in the surface.
• There are also some fine hairline cracks in the glaze surface.
• A little wonky in places – all part of the charm of a handmade ceramic item! These vases are still functional.

• There are two vases, they will be picked at random.

✸ Shipped in recyclable packaging, although I may at times re-use bubblewrap collected from previous deliveries I have received, to protect more fragile pieces.

Note that whilst the best has been done to capture the colours accurately in the photographs, the colours may vary very slightly as everybody’s screens will be calibrated slightly differently.
